The Steel City Bike Festival is a 6 day festival that was created to promote the benefits that cycling has on our community. Besides being good for you, riding your bike helps the environment (zero emissions!), doesn't cost much (bye-bye gas!), and allows you to see things that you wouldn't normally notice when driving a vehicle. The Steel City Bike Festival will be hosting various events throughout the city such as bike repair clinics, film screening, group rides, bike demos, and more.

Kidical Mass!

The Steel City Bike Festival will be hosting a “Kidical Mass” ride on Saturday, June 15th. Kids (and parents/guardians!) are invited to meet at New Hope Bikes at 9am for a delicious pancake breakfast. Once everyone’s tummies are full, we ride! See you there! (Helmets mandatory!)

Details:

Open to tenants, cyclists, and public alike
Suggested donation of $3 gets you: 3 pancakes, 2 breakfast sausages, fruit, and a beverage
Beverage choices include: Orange Juice, Tea*, and Coffee*
(*free refills on tea and coffee)

We are looking volunteers to help cook breakfast – Volunteers receive free breakfast! If interested please talk to Mike.
